Introducing the New Five-Part Cholesterol Series: This Falsely-Vilified Substance is Essential For All Life

Cholesterol could easily be described as the smoking gun of the last two decades.

It’s been responsible for demonizing entire categories of foods (like eggs and saturated fats) and blamed for just about every case of heart disease in the last 20 years.

In the mid-80s, however, cholesterol, and the fear that yours was too high, was rarely talked about. Somewhere along the way cholesterol became a dirty household word — something that  must be kept as low as possible, or risk suffering the consequences.

As a client of Robust Life Center at one time or another, you are likely aware of the seemingly endless slew of myths which portray fat and cholesterol as being two of the worst substances a person can consume. But what you may not realize is that the myths surrounding these substances can actually be more harmful to your health than their consumption. Contrary to what you have been led to believe about this vilified substance, cholesterol is not going to destroy your health, nor is it the cause of  the number one killer – heart disease.

During the next five weeks we will delve into the topic of great misunderstanding and debate – cholesterol:  Its essential, yet misinterpreted, roles in the body;  the dangers of the cholesterol-lowering craze sweeping the nation; and the reasons why medical professionals and big pharmacy companies alike, rather than reveal the truth that could prevent millions of heart disease-related deaths, prefer instead to watch their source of revenue succumb to the belief that cholesterol is the enemy, and consequently drop like flies from the very medications meant to prevent its supposed detrimental effects.
